Experience a coffee most of India has never tasted. Liberica is a tree species entirely distinct from Arabica and Robusta. It grows tall and wild, bears large, irregular cherries, and is cultivated on only a handful of estates in the country, ours among them. This rare microlot comes from our Balehonnur Estate, at 2,400 to 3,100 feet above sea level. The ripe cherries are handpicked and washed, then sealed into barrels with a rehydrated yeast culture for four days of anaerobic fermentation. Every stage is carefully monitored for consistency. A slow, entirely shade-dried journey follows, until the beans settle at a stable moisture of 11 to 11.5%. The result is a cup unlike anything else in our range: sweet berry and dried fruit meet brown spice and star anise, with a smooth, medium body that lingers long after the last sip. Produced in small quantities, best savoured black.

Crafted to Perfection

Liberica Berry Reserve is shaped by a precise four-day anaerobic barrel fermentation and a slow, patient shade-drying process that brings out what makes this varietal so singular. Medium-roasted to preserve its character, it unfolds in layers of sweet berry, dried fruit, brown spice, and star anise, with a smooth mouthfeel and a lingering, spiced finish. Overall, the result is a coffee that feels rare, expressive, and truly exceptional.

From Farm to Cup

Handpicked ripe Liberica cherries are sourced from Lot 244 at Balehonnur Estate, across Fields 1 to 8 and 15 to 17, at 2,400 to 3,100 feet above sea level. The cherries are washed and sealed into barrels with a rehydrated yeast culture for four days of anaerobic fermentation, with pH and temperature closely tracked throughout. They are then dried entirely under shade, first on raised trays for four days, then on the drying yard. Raking every hour encourages even airflow and prevents defects, until the beans reach a stable moisture of 11 to 11.5%.

Once dried, the coffee is rested, milled with care, and sorted before being roasted in small batches to a medium profile. From a rarely seen tree to a patiently crafted cup, every step is designed to let the singular character of Liberica come through.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations for coffee orders will only be considered if the request is made within 12 hours of placing an order or before the order is roasted, whichever comes first.

Due to the nature of our products and our commitment to delivering them in the best condition, we regret to inform you that orders placed with us are considered non-returnable, even if unopened.

If there was an error with your order, kindly reach out to us within 48 hours of receiving your order.

Returns & Refund Policy: In case of receipt of damaged or defective items please report the same to our Customer Service team. The request will, however, be entertained once the merchant has checked and determined the same at his own end. Quality issues raised after 48 hours of delivery will not be entertained.

In case you feel that the product received is not as shown on the site or as per your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of our customer service within the same day of receiving the product. The Customer Service Team after looking into your complaint will take an appropriate decision.

In case of complaints regarding products that come with a warranty from manufacturers, please refer the issue to them.

In case of any Refunds approved by BADRA ESTATES & INDUSTRIES LIMITED, it’ll take 6-8 days for the refund to be processed to the end customer.
